I received the loveliest package in the mail yesterday from self-taught jewelry designer moonchild Mathyld of Under the Pyramids. David and I will be photographing the gorgeous work she's sent hopefully sometime next week in the woods before the cold sets in. I'm really excited, and I especially wanted to share her work here, because ever since she first contacted us to photograph the work, I've been completely enamored with the art she creates.
What I received was a headband inspired by the luxurious era of the early 20th Century, a delicious vial of talismans with inscriptions from what looks like an almanac, some gorgeously designed pins and (of all, my personal favourite) a glass and silver triangle neckpiece, which can be opened and used as a locket. I am so charmed by jewelry which can hold secrets. It all came wrapped in such elegant wrapping as well, which makes a really amazing package to receive, especially in the mail. Being a subscriber to Agent Provocateur's Facebook page does have it's perks!.. like being one of the first to view their new collection. Aughhh, it is so yummy. I swear, if I had the funds, I would only wear AP. Not for anyone but me. Every single season I am so delighted by their collections. Helps calm your inner mistress/dominatrix by wearing kinky lingerie that shows off your tush. No real age requirements. Gape at their store setting. I wish they had one in Montreal, because I would so work there (persuade them with love letters and red roses until they'd hire me). If you've never been and there's one where you live, it's an environment worth experiencing, and there's no need to be shy. Their girlies are dressed in pink nurse-like garments and black pumps and are ready to help you find the garment that suits your bum best.

& as a side note: I got my nails done (gel nails) by my esthetician today! A lovely soft rose. If you haven't checked out gel nails before, it's worth looking into. They last a whole month and don't ever chip or anything, and they're super soft ♥
