I haven't had a proper spring yet since moving to the Pacific NW, but bare shoulders have always been a favorite transition from winter to spring for me. Coming from the south, the warmth from the sun is something I'm already missing.
My favorite thing about spring is the coming forth of things. Spring brings the promise of longer and warmer days which offers life-giving forces and much need warmth. Spring is a time of cleanse, coming into rebirth. Celebration, dance, fertility. Mmm...the sweet smell of grass coming through the freshly thawed earth. Beautiful. <3

My favorite thing about spring is the way the light changes, becomes less watery...more bold, willing to push through clouds and breezes to make even blustery days a little better.

My favourite thing about spring is ditching the scarves and hats and being able to photograph all the flowers! I'm in a photography class and I can't wait to be able to take some more delicate, spring-like photos.

My favourite thing about spring?
The smells. The mowed grass, the flowers, the fresh fruits, the light rain. It all smells incredible, and l just love to open up all the windows and just inhale it all in. It's perfect, and instantly switches on springtime thinking for me.
The second all those smells combine, l start making seasonal mixtapes, hunting down recipes for yummy fruit drinks and locations for vintage shopping.
The fact that my birthday is right in the middle of Australian Springtime is just the cherry on top!
What do I love about spring?
The colours! It is so bright in spring, especially when the Japanese cherry trees are blooming.
Spring time reminds me of renewal, and of course, my 25th birthday is in March! This would make an amazing birthday gift! :D

I love what springs symbolizes: renew & regrowth. I love how the season of spring blooms, unfortunately California really doesn't have a visible spring. I wish I was able to see the change of seasons more. And other than that, I love the weather during spring. It's the perfect mix of dewiness and sun.

I live in FL sooo we don't really have much of a season change as far as the weather goes. So my favorite thing about spring would have to be the clothing, bright prints, florals etc..
My favorite thing about spring is being able to wear bare legs again, and bare arms, and bare feet. Nothing like feeling the sunshine all over and knowing the ocean will soon be warm enough to swim in again.

My favorite part about spring is finally being able to thaw out after the cold winter's effects on me. Winter is always a harsh time for me, emotionally and physically. When the sun comes out more, and the rest of plants and flowers show their faces again, I feel much better. I also prefer the spring rain as opposed to winter. It's much more cleansing.

Spring to me means a very big change. My life has three cycles, and the cycles begin just before the summer starts.
To me, the spring is a time of closing up things and starting new goals.
Where I live it is perpetually summer, but I am particularly fond of that fresh feeling. It helps that I read tarot!

In spring, it rains here every morning, and right at the end of a rain shower, the sun comes out while it's still drizzling. :)
I love the flowers and all the different colors
I live quite north, so spring is, I guess, little different here. It's short, cold, windy and muddy. It makes me horrified just to think all the water when the snow melts. I catch cold every spring just because +10 celsius feels warm enough to go out without a jacket. Everything is soaked, covered in mud and all the colors are bleached. But, that doesn't mean I'd hate spring, actually I love it. I love The smell of melting snow, bare earth and sun, swans flying back from south, the first butterflies and coltsfoots, the color of the air and shapes of the clouds. Later, when it's almost summer, it's so green it nearly hurts your eyes, lilacs, appletree blossoms, bird cherries and mezereons smell so lovely and strong they make you feel dizzy. Yes, despite the mud, wind and cold weather, spring here is really lovely season.

My favorite thing about spring is air. I love april because of fresh clean air. Everyday, everything besides my window - trees, grass, flowers are changing! Everyday everything became greener and greaner, it is beautiful... I can start painting nature being outside because it is not cold anymore!
I like how birds are singing in the cold mornings, and to see first butterflies. Every morning I have a good mood because of this. I like to catch first rain and laught about that, running with bare feets on streets. Spring inspires me <3

Leaving in Montreal, my favorite thing about spring, is the slow warm up of the weather, the sunnier days and the overall feeling that winter is almost over.
Back in my home country I loved the crazy amount of flowers, mostly tulips and all the fruit trees blooming and making the city pink and white.
Not having a bright red face from the cold and my fringe not being blown about everywhere :)

Spring gives me energy and enthusiasm, it makes me want to live better and to enjoy little things. After sleepy, cold and dark winter, I'm waking up along with nature. Also, I'm born in spring, I'm a spring child. :)
