Hi, I'm Sofia Ajram, a freelance graphic designer, crafter and blogger currently residing in Montreal, Quebec. I'm a recent graduate of the Graphic Design department at Dawson College, and am in the midst of obtaining my BA at McGill University in East Asian Studies & Women's Studies. I enjoy dedicating my time to fine craftsmanship, in every aspect of the word, and am enamored of all things design and typography.
My work has been published in EnRoute Magazine, Lodown Magazine, Bullett Magazine, Dazed Digital, and Vice Magazine as well as many other notable blogs and webzines (Obtain the full list). I have been in several gallery exhibitions including Some Quiet Advice at Cornell University (2010) and Lumière at Ground Floor Gallery (2012). In 2010 I competed at Treize Gourous and obtained a MatchParfaite with Image et Design Global, Paquebot Design, OrangeTango, and Turcotte Design. I have worked in retail at Crabtree & Evelyn (November 2007 - May 2010), at Urban Outfitters (June 2010 - September 2010), and most currently at Sephora (April 2012 - Present). I am an ongoing concert photographer for Truth Explosion Magazine since 2007. I worked for a year (2011) as an in-house graphic designer at The Montreal Globe and am currently freelancing for design work and photography.
